Duties:

  • Within the predetermined research scope and methodology, conduct field and desktop research in the field of marine protected areas, including sustainable finance, monitoring and management effectiveness. This will involve collection and analysis of data, including periodical/literature search and utilizing specialized skills in related fields to analyze the collected data.
  • Write manuscripts for publication in scientific journals and/or presentations.
  • Participate in fundraising, including proposal development, submission, management of project budgets, meeting grant reporting requirements, and other activities.
  • Develop proposals for, and present research results at conferences, meetings, webinars, etc. Proposals may include symposium sessions involving multiple speakers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
